With everyone being home in my house we have been alternating nights to cook dinner while also trying to use up everything in our fridge. For my night I did a sort of “whatever-we-had-left” chili which ended up being amazing 🤤
Here is what I used:
1 Pound Ground Beef
1 Large Shallot Chopped
2 Cloves of Minced Garlic
1 (29 Oz) Can Tomato Sauce
1 (15 Oz) Can Baked Beans
1 (15 Oz) Can Black Beans (Drain & rinse first)
1 Tablespoon Tastefully Simple Seasoned Salt
3 Tablespoons Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
3/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic Seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon Cumin
1/2 Red Pepper Flakes
About Half a Bottle of Beer
Directions
Brown ground beef, shallot, and garlic in a skillet with salt and pepper.
Add the remaining ingredients to a large pot, add beef mixture, and then simmer for 30 minutes, stirring once or twice.
We served it with some avocado & cheese 😄
